Mary Lou Beyl was the youngest daughter of John Edward Beyl and Edna Mae Applegate.  She had four siblings:

According to Indiana, Birth Certificates, 1907-1940, Mary Lou Beyl was born at Indiana Christian Hospital at 7:33pm in Indianapolis, Indiana on 24 March 1929. Her parents are listed as John Edward Beyl and Edna Mae Applegate. Their address was 1329 Southeast Avenue. John Edward was a 43 year old Foreman and Edna was a 33 year old housewife. They had 4 children at this time, all still alive in 1929.

In 1930, John Edward lived with his wife Edna, and their children Margaret, Mildred, Charles, and Mary Lou at 1329 East Street, Center Township, Marion County, Indiana.

John was 43, Edna was 35, Margaret was 17, Mildred was 16, Charles was 13, and Mary Lou was 1 year old. John was a Dispenser at a Bakery Company. Margaret was a Saleslady at a Dry Goods Retail Store.

At the time of the 1940 Federal Census, John and Edna lived at 1020 S. New Jersey Street, Center Township, Marion County, Indiana with their children Charles, Mary Lou, and Frederick. John Edward was 53 years old, Edna was 45, Charles was 23, Mary Lou was 11, and Frederick was 5 years old. John Edward was a Laborer in the Flood Prevention Industry. He made $453. Charles made $200 at school at NYA.

Mary Lou married Max Lee on 27 April 1946, per Web: Marion County, Indiana, Marriage Index, 1925-2012.

According to U.S. City Directories, 1822-1995, Mary Lou and Max lived at 2495 Dawson in 1955. Max was a foreman at Louden Body Shop at the time.

Mary Lou passed away on 14 December 1998. Her last residence is listed as 46254 Indianapolis, Marion County, Indiana. Her Social Security Number is listed as 308-26-6300 per the U.S., Social Security Death Index, 1935-2014. Mary Lou’s Death Certificate lists John Edward Beyl and Edna Applegate as her parents. It lists her birthday as 24 March 1929, she was 69 years old and widowed when she passed at 12:55am at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana.

She had worked for the government as a Postal Clerk and resided at 4390 N. High School Road, #103, Indianapolis, Indiana, 46254. Her parents are listed as John Edward Beyl and Edna Applegate which confirms her relationship to this line. Her cause of death is listed as Infarction of Bowel with 3 days between onset and death as well as bowel obstruction with 10 days between onset and death. Other significant conditions listed were End stage Renal Disease and Insulin Dependent Diabetes Mellitus. No autopsy was performed.

Per Find A Grave, Mary Lou is resting with her husband, Max K. Lee, at Washington Park East Cemetery in Indianapolis, Marion County, Indiana. Her birthdate is listed on her headstone as 24 March 1929 which is consistent with her Death Certificate.
