In 1860, according to the Census, William and Catherine were 66 and 64 respectively. This age difference does not match the 1850 Census record. But these records are known for having inaccuracies like this.

Like William, I don’t have a whole lot of information on Catherine. The two Census records were great because they gave me the names of their children which is just enough information to verify them against other potential William’s and Catherine’s. But it isn’t a lot to go on even still. I still have some clean up to do on their family trees as well. Some of the children have duplicate profiles that need to be merged, for example.
I always update these pages as I find additional information on the ancestor. It would sure help me out if you leave any information that you have about them in the Comments section below. I’ll be sure to share it to this page and keep their story alive.
Until next time, take care and hug your loved ones!
