According to a Bible Record, Thomas was born 1790 in Lincoln County, Kentucky.  He was in the war of 1812 and bought many farming articles in 1818 from his father’s sale.  He married Polly Trowbridge on 6 March 1819 in Lincoln County, Kentucky.
